Oakwood Cemetery Event!

Upcoming Cemetery Clean Up!

From the Wyandotte Oakwood Cemetery Association:

"We honor the veterans buried in Oakwood and their families each year by working to restore the area and individual graves to pristine condition before the Memorial Day celebrations.   We hope that you will join on on May 9 at 10 AM. (Rain Date: May 23)

Please bring tools, clippers, weed whips and rakes.

This will be a special day in that students from Wyandotte schools and their teachers will join in the effort.  Please bring friends and neighbors.  Oakwood Cemetery is one of the oldest historic landmarks in the area and we need to show respect by maintaining it in good condition."
