Mayor John S. VanAlstyne was born in New York and was the manager of Eureka Iron Works. He was 33 years old when he was elected.

Mayor Charles Partridge was employed by the Eureka Iron Works. He was 49 years old when he was elected.

 

1870                

Mayor Edmund P. Christian was born in Pennsylvania and was the first doctor in the City of Wyandotte. He was 49 years old when he was elected.

 

1871-1872        

Mayor Thomas Jewel was born in England and was employed by the Wyandotte Iron Company. He was 29 years old when he was elected.

Mayor O. Colburn was elected to fill the vacancy by Mayor Jewel’s resignation.

Mayor Horace N. Ocoback was born in New York and was employed by the Wyandotte Rolling Mill and was also the Superintendent of the Water Works. He was 41 years old when he was elected.

Mayor Theophilus Langlois was born in Grosse Ile, Michigan and a physician. He was 39 years old when he was elected.

Mayor John Bittorf was born in Germany and was the first butcher shop owner in Wyandotte.   He was 42 years old when he was elected.

Mayor Michael Ganley was born in Ireland and was an engineer at Wyandotte Rolling Mill.  He was also the Fire Chief. He was 53 years old when he was elected.

Mayor Thomas D. Evans was born in Wales and was employed by Eureka Iron & Steel Company. He was 64 years old when he was elected.
